The Grateful Dead (who followed me for years - heh heh), The Beatles, and most definitely the Monkees and I'm not afraid to admit it! :-) Oh yeah, and I also like a large variety of classic rock, folk, bluegrass, world music and well, I guess I'm pretty open to music in general.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

Whatever I happen to be reading at the time. I have no patience for reading things that don't interest me! Life's too short., AstroGirl (well, at least I'm not modest), J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, anyone who can make me laugh.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Help!, Yellow Submarine, Head (not a porno!), Hair (Hmmm...There seems to be a theme emerging), Moulin Rouge, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, well, really anything absurd, surreal, otherworldly, psychedelic, and stone groovy.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

The Monkees, Monty Python's Flying Circus. I don't watch current TV. I cancelled my cable subscription because TV news lies.
Interests and Activities:

Saving democracy, the right to vote and have the vote counted fully and accurately, the Constitution and life as we know it. Someday having that loving, understanding, peaceful world that the hippies used to talk about in my youth. Sigh. Writing, international travel, freedom from tyrrany of all kinds.

Haiya AstroGirl,... interesting Astroboy was my fav t.v show. Sometimes the facts can be hard to accept on these issues which seem to be far out. However, with careful examination I think we come to understand that it is not as far out as we think. I'm glad you enjoy the articles and I do my very best to provide credible updates and references because these issues should not be taken lightly.

Hey Astrogirl,

I don't know if you heard yet that the Two Word Challenge is 2 yrs old now. Dave L has issued a special challenge word pair - Sacred Consent - and of course posted and awesome response to the challenge. In honor of the anniversary, I posted an article called What is Your Best Response to a Two Word Challenge? and I thought I would suggest you post a link to what you think is your best Two Word Challenge response piece in a comment on that article so members of the group can get a feel for what other members think is their best piece. I know you have not done one in a long time, but when you were doing them, you did them well. I think it will be a fun way to gain some readership and get to know other members.

I think my best response to a Two Word Challenge was for the pair: Suitcase Dreams. I was the person that challenged this word pair and when I did it, I knew I wanted to revise a story I had written in college. After revising it, I now am interested in making it into a full length novel. I'm not sure if you ever read and commented on it, but I would love to have your feedback on it, and hope you enjoy The Red Suitcase.
